Homewood Suites by Hilton San Antonio Riverwalk/Downtown

Bed: comfortable. Number of pillow varieties Lighting: plenty of well positioned lights and a nightlight! Breakfast: fine. Adequate. Some variety. Loved the Texas shaped waffles. Fresh fruit always a plus, could use more! Great seating area and TV’s and views! Plenty of good coffee. Rooftop pool!!! Helpful staff, especially Gabby. Quiet, comfortable. Spacious room. Easy access and great location.

Love how the hotel is right by the Riverwalk, for easy access and has a great view for when lounging by the lobby Complimentary Breakfast had a lot to choose from like Waffles, Danishes, Fruits Love how the hotel bathroom has a full bottle of body lotion by the vanity, as well as refillable shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel, mounted to the shower wall.

Location to everything we wanted to see. Very comfortable beds and suite accommodated our needs. Kids loved the waffles. Loved coming home to suite after our daily excursions. Hotel is a little old, but very beautiful. Could use more staff. Could tell housekeeping was overwhelmed. Valet team were cordial and accommodating as was front desk and breakfast staff.

Like, the space in the room and location. Dislike, the loading and unloading of parking. If someone is available, they would move your vehicle so you can comfortably get your things together, but if not, people coming in are impatient and rude. I had a family of 6. It takes a moment to load and unload, and people were acting like I should have been out of the way.

The staff was good. The place was relatively clean. The location on the river walk was great. The breakfast was better than most places but often ran out on certain foods (like oatmeal) routinely. The breakfast area was well maintained.
